The inspiration:

Some Middle Eastern princesses introduced me to the gorgeous scent of oud. Derived from agarwood wood and its resins, it’s one of the most precious and expensive raw materials in the world. I immediately decided to create an oud shampoo and conditioner – and to take the formulas to the next level, I wanted them to deliver the benefits of a Rejuvenating Oil treatment with less time and effort. What made that all possible was a new leading-edge technology: time-released safflower oleosomes, which I used to encapsulate the oud for an extended delivery of moisture and fragrance. Also rich in amino acids, the formulas leave all hair types looking incredibly glossy, bouncy and textured — and the lovely, lingering oud scent is the best part of all.

How to use

Apply to wet hair, work into a lather and let the conditioning agents sink in for 1-2 minutes.
Rinse well. Repeat if desired.
Follow with Forever Shine Conditioner and Detangling Toning Mist. For an oily scalp, pre-cleanse with Peppermint Avocado Shampoo.

I’m don’t want to write this to convince you to buy this, but I am. It’s the best shampoo and the matching conditioner is also the best I’ve used. I’m a male with short to medium length hair, but this stuff makes my hair so soft and gives it a nice shine.

does this shampoo and conditioner has any sulfates?: Hi Erika, thanks for reaching out! This product does have sulfates in the formula at this time. Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) are the cleansing agents in shampoos. Sulfate-based surfactants might have the tendency to be harsh, stripping natural oils, depleting color and irritating the scalp. However, if either are present in a formula, we have buffered/encompassed the impact of sulfates with active percentages of essential and carrier oils together with ample plant extracts.
