Orders ship from the West Coast/LA usually within 48 hours after receipt, excluding weekends and holidays. Transit time for UPS Ground is 4-5 days from the West Coast to East Coast. Transit time to the Midwest is 2-3 days. At this time, we do not ship orders on weekends and holidays.

Yes, to ensure product safety. Preservatives often garner unfavorable reviews, but they are a major factor in keeping products safe and for protection from microbial growth (i.e., mold and bacteria).  We work in tandem with our manufacturers to choose the best and safest preservative for each individual product.

Our hair care products are safe for color treated hair. In fact, our Forever Shine and Icelandic Blonde Collections primarily focus on color protection.

We would recommend that you consult your stylist who is familiar with the adhesive, process and extension material to safely and correctly ascertain the products that would be compatible with extensions. 

Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) are the cleansing agents in shampoos. Sulfate-based surfactants might have the tendency to be harsh, stripping natural oils, depleting color and irritating the scalp.  However, if either are present in a formula, we have buffered/encompassed the impact of sulfates with active percentages of essential and carrier oils together with ample plant extracts. 

Sulfate-free surfactants are generally milder, less stripping with significant less foaming action. Recognizing that sulfate-free technology has evolved and, with respect our customer’s wishes and concerns, we are updating updated our product portfolio. 

Yes, Gentle Conditioning Shampoo is considered fragrance-free; any residual aroma that might be detected emanates from African Shea Butter; the predominant ingredient in the product.

Yes, heat protection is a key factor in several products; namely Thermal Protection Spray and Straightening Baume.

Expiration Date — The shelf life of a product in its “unopened” primary container when maintained under the conditions of storage indicated on the product’s label. Anti-Flake Relief Shampoo (Extra Strength) and Anti-Flake Relief Shampoo (Lite) both have named expirations date ink-stamped printed at the bottom of the bottle.

PAO — The period-of-time that a product remains suitable for use after its primary container has been opened when maintained under the storage conditions indicated on its labeling.
