Velvet Oud: Irresistible Luxury

What inspired you to create Velvet Oud? 

Forever Shine Shampoo and Conditioner have been such a success, in large part due to their uncommon Royal Oud scent. It’s so opulent and distinctive. For years, people have been asking me to make similar products for the body. So when I finally did, I wanted to go the extra mile and make the formulas feel intriguing and exquisite in a way that calls back to the shampoo and conditioner, but is also completely new.

Can you describe the sensory experience of Velvet Oud? 

Velvet Oud is a perfect complement to the Royal Oud scent in Forever Shine Shampoo and Conditioner, while being just as nuanced and sophisticated. Both collections layer beautifully together. Velvet Oud simply expresses the sumptuous quality of Oud in a brighter, fresher way. I have customers coming to me saying how they haven’t used fragrance in 20 years, but decided to give Forever Shine Body a try and won’t ever look back. They love how the scent wears throughout the day, staying deliciously potent on the skin without being overpowering.

What makes Velvet Oud last so long on the skin? 

I composed Forever Shine Body Wash and Crème with the finest skincare ingredients including potent doses of Amino Acids, Pea Peptides and Safflower Oleosomes. Also the key ingredient in Forever Shine Shampoo and Conditioner, Safflower Oleosomes work wonders on the skin with their time-released delivery system. Weightless and invisible on the skin, Oleosomes collapse over time which allows the controlled release of the skincare actives and Velvet Oud. The velvet-smooth finish and irresistible scent lasts for hours after application.
